ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease, robs individuals of their ability to walk, talk, swallow, and breathe. It affects people of all ages indiscriminately, yet there is currently no cure. However, with your support, we're driving critical research forward and providing essential care and advocacy for ALS patients and their families.

Eric is a Golden Apple Award winning, National Board Certified Educator for over 26 years. His undergraduate degree is a double major in English and History from the University of New Mexico where he also earned a Master’s Degree in Administration.  He is also a die-hard Lobo fan. He has his own radio show called the “House of Strauss.” 

He has worked hard in the community and currently serves as a board member and Spokesman for Los Ojos De La Familia, a charitable organization founded to help struggling families in New Mexico.
