Hi Family and Friends,
It's been 4 1/2 years since Mike passed away. I am remembering Mike with family and friends. I'm so grateful for my life with Mike and now I'm creating new memories.
It’s that time of year to Walk n Wheel to Defeat ALS.
If you can please help me reach my Walk to Defeat ALS fundraising goal! The Walk to Defeat ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
As many of you know Mike died on March 7, 2021. He is always in my heart and I walk to raise money for an ALS cure.
